Angels for sale!

Teal and blue green angel group. All angels are uniquely made. They will be for sale at the upcoming fall arts festival in Medicine Park, Oklahoma. One of Oklahoma's most beautiful secret places and wildlife areas. I will be there all day in my white art tent on October 9th from 8:00am-6:00pm. Come see me!

The angels range in size from 5 inches to 11 inches. They range in prices from $25.00 to $50.00.
They make awesome handmade gifts with a puritan style. Must see in person. No two are alike. People hang them from their rear view mirror in their cars, from their Christmas tree, from their lamp fixture in their homes, in their kitchen windows. Anywhere that has light and will enable the angel to send out blessings to you and yours.

Broken antique plates for wings, glass gems and beads added, antique vintage jewelry adorns their gowns.

Angels for sale!

I was having fun putting lime green with blue green colors. Leopard lime colored glass beads adorn her gown.
Hot pink marble colored gems adorn her gown. She has a halo with two glass gems in the crown.

Teal colored glass angel. Her gown came from an antique broken bowl. Glass gem adorns the front, halo added.

Red colored gowns, glass beads with wire for hanging.

Angels for sale!

I see now that these two angels are posted twice. I am sorry - if I delete one photo, it take the entire entry out - so I am leaving them for you to enjoy twice!!!
I liked this color of this angel. Inspired from the colors of New Mexico. Adorned her gown with a gem from Nevada.
Rust colored gown with antique plate wings. She wanted a hymn book to hold, so I made her one.

Blue and white angel. Antigue silver charm adorns her front gown.

Lots of different patterns with this angel. Two different broken pieces of plates for her wings, accented with flower printed glass gems for her front gown. She wants to be on someone's Christmas tree this holiday season.

Angels for sale!

The blue group. This is a tiny angel who is only five inches tall.
All angels are made with broken pieces of antique plates, traditional flat glass for their gowns.

They make a great handmade gift for Christmas. No two angels are alike.

Orange confetti glass, large pieces of glass from an orange vintage 70's glass vase, brown pearl colored gems, with gold and auburn colors added. Covered with a black patina adds and edgy touch.

Close ups....

Some photos taken with a flash and some with no flash. Each photo still shows the dramatic edges and abstract lines.

All pieces soldered together.

It looked like this in the beginning.

Roswell, New Mexico

Aliens, Aliens, everywhere! As I drove through town to get to my hotel there was a street festival occuring in the older downtown area of Roswell. After I checked into my hotel I just had to go and take a look. The older stores had aliens in their store windows and out on the streets. Newspaper articles from the 1950's were shown on display which reported the spottings of spaceships and aliens back then. It was an interesting place to be.

Traveling from Winnemucca to Fallan, Nevada

This was what it looked like through most of Nevada. I had to step out at one point to take photos from each direction, North, South, East, and West. There was absolutely nothing for miles and miles and miles.

Heading East from Tularosa, New Mexico

Can you see the cross at the top of the hill?

From Tularosa, New Mexico, I drove highway East on 70. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains. Ruidoso was nestled right in the middle of the long drive. I cam out through the other side and headed toward Roswell, New Mexico.
