"Make Love not WAR...Honey!"

She's got style....
She's got pizazz....
She's got nerve....
And....she has spirit!!!!

This piece is part of a broken mermaid that came from Estes Park, Co.

When I got her, her fins were broken off, and a martini glass used to be in her hand but it had also been broken off...she still had her spirit and I could not deny her another chance on life.

I re-incarnated her as an angel...added some lime green flowered glass given to me from an antique owner in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I put a "diamond" ring on her hand and neck, added the "sign" which says it all. The green plate pieces came from my sister-in-law, who lives in Anderson, Ca. Alot of effort and thought took place to make her come alive again. I had a blast creating her and I hope you enjoy her as well.

She is on display at the IYE gallery and is selling for $100.00.

Another piece for sale.

It is bitter cold here in Bridgeport....and they expect snow tommorrow.
It might be just as cold back at home in Oklahoma.
Here is another piece still for sale from our COLORLICIOUS show. It is three feet in length, and two and a half feet tall. When the sunlight shines through this piece the bright orange colors with the lime green and teal colored flowers just pop out from the frame. It looks alive, therefore the title, "See, Hear, Feel". It sells for $1100.00. The gallery accepts lay-a-way payments...so its possible for you to purchase this over time.

Peace comes in all different colors!

"PEACE"
This looks best in a dimmer light, with colored lights inside...it lights up and sends you good vibes.
"VIVID VISION" Three feet tall, and two and a half feet wide. This took a long time, but it was worth it. This face, specifically the moustache reminded me of Peter Max.
"Yellow Banana".....this piece can be turned long ways, actually you can flip it around and keep changing the way it looks. I love the yellow, and lime green hews it gives out.

Cool Blue....

The picture on the left is of a building my daughter and I visited while we were in Haight Ashbury. I am planning on finishing my bus up in this style.

The picture on the left is titled, "Blue Groove".

It was fun to design. I have added a really cool blue and yellow daisey right in the middle. It is 16 inches high and wide.

The blue glass came from a jewlery artist at our gallery named Sarah Davidson. She used to create with stained glass years ago. I liked the color combination of blues, yellows, limes, oranges, and reds. The freedom of the late sixties was that all kinds of colors could be combined. I believe I could have created many more pieces with the unusual color combinations of the sixities.
