Cutting the frames.

These photos show the six foot long pieces of channel I use to create the frame.

The measurements and angles must be exact. I use different tools to help me do this. When finished, the frame will be 1/16 of an inch smaller all around so that it fits easily into the two window spaces.

Hello - I've been a silent fan of yours for a while. I really admire your work and your creative use of reclaimed glass. Your Christmas tree is a favorite of mine. I am a glass artist and am curious where you found those right-angle framing clamps.

Best,
David.

Hi David -
Thank you for your comment and your compliment. I am honored. I wish I could tell you where the right-angled framing clamps came from but I can't. They used to belong to my boyfriend's father who has since passed away a few years ago. I would think that these would be able to be purchased at a framing store or if you know a carpenter, they might know where to refer you.
Do you have a blog or web site?
Sincerely -
Jennifer Lynn Farrar
