The customer for this commission sent me some pictures of the beach, ocean waves and beautiful sky. I worked from these pictures and created this rich abstract design. Brown sandy beaches, rolling ocean waves of dark blue and aqua with a vibrant blue sky.
Accents of pastel blue glass gems, and pastel blue glass beads were wired in. They sparkle in the sun. The glass colors were marbled in color with small lines of lighter shades within the glass. Each piece had to be cut so that these small marble-like designs were all running horizontally. I believe the customer will enjoy looking at the glass art and feel a sense of clam and peace inside.
