Rio Grande flowing through. Lively creek flowing past me.
A few months ago I started a glass design which were rocky walls and clifts but got stuck in the process. I did not know the next design step to take so I didn't force it and left the project alone for awhile. While I was here visiting this area (down in the gorge) seeing and understanding these walls of rock made me realize I can now move forward with that project.
Jim saw this up high on part of the ridge. The boulder was huge, but had split down the middle.
Rock sculpture.

2013 will mark my 13th year working with glass. My third year in painting. I push the envelope as far as what I can create with both mediums. Good things happen when glass breaks or mistakes happen...from there more is beautifully and meaningfully revealed.
