Gayle Curry, next month's featured artist for August.
Gayle...she looks like she is about "18" in this picture. We were trying to get in the frame with me holding the camera out in front of us. She looks about 13 here!!! Seriously...Gayle has a rich style. She says next month will feature all abstracts. Just this year, she has gained a new focus in her painting. She is a "woman on amission" and will be making a name for herself in the art world. Everyone WATCH OUT!
2013 will mark my 13th year working with glass. My third year in painting. I push the envelope as far as what I can create with both mediums. Good things happen when glass breaks or mistakes happen...from there more is beautifully and meaningfully revealed.
